In September 2019, a seminar on the exchange of technical experience took place on the territory of the foreign partner Bureau Veritas in Brignais and Chalon, France. Under the Memorandum of Cooperation concluded in July 2018 Bureau Veritas specialists presented to members of ZAES JSC the experience of assessing product conformity in accordance with European requirements in the field of nuclear energy use. The issue of the requirements applying of ISO / IEC 17020 “Conformity assessment – Requirement for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection” was discussed specifically. There were common approaches of companies and the organization features of the conformity assessment of products manufactured for nuclear power plants in the Russian Federation and abroad. The seminar was attended by members from Podolsk and Penza representative offices and the central office of ZAES JSC. Continued cooperation between companies on the technical experience exchange under the current Memorandum is planned for next year.
